Agreement to Terms

By accessing and utilizing the BorealBonus platform, you acknowledge and consent to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation, the operating entity behind BorealBonus. If you disagree with any portion of these terms, you must discontinue use of our services immediately.

We reserve the right to modify, amend, or update these terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the platform following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically to stay informed of any updates.

Eligibility Requirements

To participate in BorealBonus draws, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry
• Be a legal resident of Alberta, Canada
• Possess valid government-issued identification for verification purposes
• Not be an employee or immediate family member of the operating organization
• Comply with all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations

We reserve the right to request proof of eligibility at any time. Failure to provide adequate verification may result in disqualification and forfeiture of any prizes.

Account Registration

Creating an account on BorealBonus requires you to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.

Each individual may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts may result in suspension or termination of all associated accounts and forfeiture of any entries or prizes. You may not transfer, sell, or otherwise convey your account to another person.

Ticket Purchases

All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable. Once your payment is processed and ticket numbers are assigned, the transaction cannot be reversed, cancelled, or modified. Tickets cannot be exchanged, transferred, or resold under any circumstances.

Each ticket is priced at $10.00 CAD. Package prices reflect the total number of tickets included. All prices are displayed in Canadian dollars and include applicable taxes. You are responsible for any additional fees imposed by your payment method provider.

By completing a purchase, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the full amount. In the event of payment failure or chargeback, we reserve the right to cancel your tickets and pursue legal remedies to recover any losses.

User Conduct

You agree to use BorealBonus only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms of Service. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

• Attempting to manipulate, interfere with, or compromise the draw process
• Using automated systems, bots, or scripts to purchase tickets
• Providing false or misleading information during registration or purchases
• Engaging in fraudulent activities or payment disputes
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users or staff members
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems or databases
• Violating any applicable laws or regulations

Violation of these conduct standards may result in immediate account termination, disqualification from current and future draws, and potential legal action.

Intellectual Property

All content on the BorealBonus platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and design elements, is the property of Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any content from our platform without express written permission. Unauthorized use may result in civil and criminal penalties.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BorealBonus and Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid for tickets during the six months preceding the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory upon which the claim is based.

We make no warranties or representations about the accuracy or completeness of the platform's content. The platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied.
