Official Rules Overview
These Official Rules govern all draws conducted through the BorealBonus platform. By purchasing tickets and participating in any draw, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these rules in their entirety. The decisions of BorealBonus and Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation regarding all aspects of the draw are final and binding.
All draws are conducted in strict compliance with the regulations established by the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC) and all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws.
Sponsor Information

The Foundation holds a valid gaming license issued by the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission under registration number 731124, effective December 15, 2025.
All proceeds from ticket sales, after deducting prize costs and reasonable operational expenses, are directed toward supporting the charitable programs and initiatives of Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation.
Entry Period
The entry period for each draw is clearly specified on the respective draw page and promotional materials. Ticket sales commence at the published start date and time and continue until the published closing date and time. All times referenced are Mountain Standard Time (MST) or Mountain Daylight Time (MDT) as applicable.
No entries will be accepted after the stated deadline under any circumstances. Entries must be completed through the official BorealBonus website. Any attempt to circumvent the entry process through automated means, bots, or fraudulent methods will result in immediate disqualification.
Each ticket purchased represents one entry into the draw. There is no limit to the number of tickets an eligible individual may purchase, subject to availability. All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
Winner Selection Process
Prize recipients are determined through a random selection process conducted after the entry period closes. The draw utilizes a certified random number generator to ensure fairness and impartiality. All draws are conducted under the supervision of authorized personnel and witnessed by independent parties as required by AGLC regulations.
The probability of selection depends entirely on the total number of valid entries received during the entry period. Each ticket has an equal and independent chance of being selected, regardless of when it was purchased or the purchaser's previous participation history.
Selected entrants will be contacted directly using the contact information provided during account registration. We will make multiple attempts to reach selected entrants via email and telephone. If we are unable to establish contact within the specified timeframe, or if the selected entrant is found to be ineligible, we reserve the right to select an alternate recipient.
Prize Details
Prize details, including monetary values and quantities, are specified on each individual draw page. The current featured draw offers a grand prize of $50,000 CAD, payable by certified check or electronic funds transfer at the recipient's preference.
Prizes are awarded "as is" with no warranties or representations of any kind. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted, except at the sole discretion of the sponsor. The sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for any reason.
Selected recipients are responsible for all applicable federal, provincial, and local taxes associated with prize acceptance. The sponsor will issue appropriate tax documentation as required by Canadian tax law.
Prize Claiming Procedures
Selected entrants must respond to notification within fourteen (14) calendar days of initial contact. Failure to respond within this timeframe may result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternate recipient.
